- 6:52 pm Okay kids, here is the sitch. Ever since I moved to LA and decided to act one thing has become perfectly clear: I need to ditch the Jetta. I mean it was a great starter car, and it totally served its perpose in college, but come on. If I want to be an aspiring acteur, I have GOT to look the part, if you know what I mean. I should at LEAST have a Beamer, and even that is pushing it. Seriously. The trick is how to get the parentals to flip the bill. They seem to think that a Jetta is fine, but Daddy might be cracking under the pressure. It just kinda sucks because my insurance is kinda high b/c I got into a few fender benders a while ago, and that made the fucking rate go up. That is not my fault or my problem, and it doesn't change the fact that my ride needs a serious upgrade. Say la vie!! Did I mention that I absolutely LUV LA!!!! Everything is so much more ALIVE here. The cars are nicer, the grass is greener and even the people are better. It is as though I have finally found where I belong. Weather I am just sipping coffee in a Westwood Coffee Bean, people watching on Melrose, or shopping for Fendi on Rodeo, I just feel that everywhere in Los Angeles truly embraces my spirit and indeed my very soul. There is something about the warmth of the sun caressing my tan shoulders, and the pulse of the city running through my veins that makes me feel at one and at home. I have at long last found my mecka.
